FAU are already setting up their q1 and q2 match ups. Hopefully we can get something like that.

FAU has an easy time scheduling at this moment on the back of a Final Four and NCAAT appearance

Power 5 teams see it as an easy win, yet a quality win

FAU can schedule whoever they want, their run is O-V-E-R. Their head coach and top four scorers - Davis (Arkansas or Kentucky), Goldin (Michigan), Martin (UF) and Boyd (SDSU) - are all gone. May also took their top high school signee with him to Michigan. They lose 64 ppg. Back to obscurity for the Owls.

I get that they are over. I was just wondering if we were gonna start scheduling better competition so that we don’t run into the problem we had last year.

Did they schedule that or were they invited? I'm not sure how those tourneys work ...

I don’t either. Hence my question if anyone had heard anything. Wouldn’t want to win the conference again next, lose the tournament and be left out again because of lazy scheduling. Then again we may have no say in who wants to schedule us.

I agree but wouldn't dance on their grave, seeing we can have the same mid-major misfortune over and over again.

I would think those here in charge of MBB scheduling paid close attention to last year but like you said, it takes two to schedule a game/series so it'll be interesting to see how this year's ooc pans out ...
