That is quite a statement but they are swarming and have given up only 6 points in 8 minutes.  It helps that Loyola is slow but this impressive.

Another win.  Now 5-4.  Shaping up to be a nice season. Also, aren't we on a three game winning streak?

Yes ...... apparently CAAR has finally learned how to coach ...... until we lose again.

Hyperbole.

He has made adjustments and he'll probably realize at some point he has to make other changes.  That's what coaches do.  He started Tobiloba?  Come on.  No one says he doesn't know how to coach.  There were glaring problems, some remain, and discussion boards discuss them.  Just as praise has been given for the uptick in defensive tenacity.  That's been seen in last three games.   The ball movement has been better too.  Have to attack the basket.  Check!  We're just not good shooting three only.  No team really is no matter how much that notion might be in season for some.

They are making better shot selections and not taking the 3 at every opportunity; becoming better at taking shots that come to them and opting for higher percentage ones. Also, sticking to a smaller rotation, which helps with players adjusting to the flow of the game. Knox only took 4 shots today, just hitting one.

Noticed in the first half of the women's game that CJF is also sticking to a core group of players and not just firing up a bunch of 3s. Both coaches seem to be following the same game plan from the start of the season to now. Outside of Blasigh's 1-9, it is probably the best half of basketball the women's team has played this year.

Great game. Decent crowd. Team is starting to gel and coalesce around a core group, which is good to see. Defense looked quality. Shooting continues to look very good, especially from outside.
