Could be a sign that Brown is going to stick around here awhile and Carter knew he had to get out to play.

My positive spin on this

And that Archie is that much better than Izzy.

If we can make the playoffs or at least are in contention every year, then he stays possibly to 2026 in a quest to be the first G6 team to win a playoff game or title.

Only 5% of CFB players make it to the NFL

According to NFL:

Still, only 1.6% of college football players will ever play professionally, but academic scholarships and college educations will give many others the tools they need to succeed in life.

They said it.  If only the NCAA could.

As much a sign that he was probably going the wrong direction on the depth chart with the freshman coming in

They have a wide open competition with the number one juco qb, GB, rs freshmen, Utah backup transfer, and a true freshmen.  Good fit for him if he can get on the field and stay healthy. They are run heavy and don't throw Many medium or deep balls.  It would let him build his arm back up.

Well he has a really good offense he's been studying to bring with him.  Might help him win the job.
