I think the announcers made a comment about the last time winning this big was back in the 1970s.

Here is the thing. I predicted this team would win 20+ games this season. I called this game being a win by more than 30. I don't pull predictions out of nowhere; it is based on hours of analysis that includes watching games of future opponents, studying matchups, analyzing stats, and studying skills and weaknesses of various players. I do this for both men's and women's teams. So, unlike many on here who just pull stuff out of nowhere, my predictions are based on very in-depth analysis. I still say that this team is going to win 20+ games and will probably upset FAU. I predicted a 25-4 regular season, with the 4 losses accounting for games where we have a bad night or the other team has an outlier game. Why do you think I started off this post by asking if anyone cared to change their predictions about the outcome? Who pulled something out of nowhere, me or the people who predicted a 5-pt or 10-pt win?

This team is clearly much more skilled than last year's squad. This team is much better coached as well.

THE MAZZA YEARS?

I wasnt able to watch the game, but just saw the box score. That's the way to start the season.

Will definitelly make sure I am home for the next one and watch it on espn plus.

WAY too dependent on the three early.

3 and D. modern basketball.

shoot 3's and run to the rim (high percentage 2's).

defend 3's and defend the rim.

Bulls shot the ball relatively well from the field and the FTL. USF?  Shooting well?  I must have missed a memo.

Plenty to work on but encouraging.  I particularly liked what I saw from Reid.

Kinda Weird Stat of the Game .... Amongst the plethora of positives from the game, we got out rebounded, 37-40, with our leading rebounder being the 5'10" freshman pg.

but this is not our shade of green that’s on the court

Thought the same...

Tampa Bay on baseline is useless, too.

Our resident expert(s) might chime in but I'd attribute that to the outside shooting and some longer rebounds.  Reid is pretty active as well.

My son saw that and asked "what are we SMU now?"  I didn't even notice at first

Not an expert but had the same thought. There 34 missed 3 pointers total so that's going to definitely lead to longer rebounds ...

Didn't really notice the color or the Tampa Bay thing either, which I like. There's griping about the community not embracing us so why shouldn't we try more to embrace the community ........ useless, it's not.
