Scott also honored him.  Give Golesh and Scott credit. They both knew that it was a fractured program from the time the idiots fired him.  Those people destroyed the brand and the program and a successful coach.

How they actually make it up to him remains to be seen. I don’t think he wants a statue or a stadium name or an invite to sit in an “owner’s” booth. I think he’d like an apology and things to be corrected. I think most would.

Wonder how he’d feel about being an AD.

It's up to the Jim on if he wants to be associated with USF.  I would support.

No.

I'm all about bringing him back but FAMU isn't the time. We need to be winning or respectable. Hell wait until OCS opener at this point.

Heck yes! He’s the granddaddy of bulls nation! I’d love a past and present segment…Golesh and CJL interviewed together would be epic!

Since USF settled with CJL, in-which neither side admitted fault, I am not sure that USF can actually issue an apology - at least not without some sort of change to the settlement terms (probably involving Leavitt returning some of the money that USF paid in the settlement)

Something they should figure out.  They pissed away far more post-2009.  For what?

There's got to be some lawyer speak like "mistakes were made" or something.

True, keeping Leavitt would have avoided the losing seasons and certainly would have netted some decent revenue as a result

As to the “For What”, that answer depends whether you believe Leavitt’s narrative or the University’s

Personally, I would have liked USF to have buried the axe in 2020 and hired CJL as opposed to CJS

Now, I think that the best that we are going to see is some sort of Jim Leavitt day and maybe some sort of acknowledgment in the OCS
