No, that's David Collins.  AC was a couple of years prior I believe. Point guard that had arm troubles that changed the way he shot. Funny thing is he wasn't known as a shooter. But on the playground he hit maybe 18 - 20 in a row from 3.

That probably goes back to @Friscobull's theory on the level of competition

Just a whole different thing when you're being guarded.

THE Basketball Tournament. We had a team in it a while back. Anthony Collins was practicing at our neighborhood outdoor hoops and working out in the community gym while staying at a friend's place in our development. I recognized him out on the court from his patented move to the basket and little tear drop shot. Up to the that point I was just retrieving 3 point shots for him with no idea who he was.

That tear drop always found a way in when we needed it. That tournament team was too fun.

I'm assuming the other former players he was talking to were either on a team all ready or not interested in playing.  We had a pretty competitive team that one year with DJ.  I'm sure it's tough trying to form a team when you have guys out of town.  No one is paying airfare or hotel and I'm sure they have to practice together at some point.  I guess most would have regular jobs too.

Kind of gave up pretty quick.   Has close to a year to organize a team and joined the gator team a couple of days later?

Think of the state of USF Men's Basketball the last 5-6 years.  He made the right decision....

No ****?  Cool.  Was the patented move the one where he went to the hoop and threw up a prayer while trying to draw a foul?

You sure you are talking about the right player, Anthony Collins, not David Collins?

It didn't change in 2 days, but I'm sure he has his reasons
