First Ever "Away" game ?

first road game for me, but I'll be at the UCF game, at least, next year.  I'd rather that game not be a rivalry considering I'd like USF to remain a better team and just beat them every time, but I'm glad for the close away game.

my first was 1998 at Hofstra

good time (except the score)-- I wasn't in the regular USF crowd that day. I had some connections and was in the president's box on the 50 yard line with free food and drinks.

Ga Southern was cool too (except the score)-- was in Minneapolis that week for training, had a layover in Atlanta where a friend and I rented a car and drove to the game. It rained like crazy on the way back.

Away games are fun -- hope we continue to get better at bringing fans to them. But building a traveling army take time. If you can make the first ever bowl game-- that would be something to brag about.

I know that Brad went to every away game that inaugural year.

That wasn't easy to do as I recall-- those were some very off the beaten path schools to visit.

Well all of them except Miami this year are away for me. But outside of the Tampa ones ive been to

Kentucky,South Carolina,Penn State,Miami so hopefully ill break the trend and win one
