None of this is reassuring, and makes me doubt even more that we made the right hire. We will see how he recruits. I am done with patience, and I expect at least 12-16 wins. If the new coach at ECU was able to get 16 wins in his first season, I expect coach Rahim to pull it off as well. I am done with the excuses.

Kennesaw players are born to play in the AAC...... they are OWLS!

I  am all for Youngblood and Stroud, but the idea that we can just get the best Kennesaw players to come here and then we can just recreate that Asun mojo  this year is unlikely. We will be competing with Memphis, Temple ,Wichita State,,,. FAU (final four), UAB ( NIT finalist), North Texas ( NIT winner).

I have followed the A Sun since I am also a Stetson alum, and the level of play in that conference is just atrocious. I doubt that Kennesaw State with this years team would have finished ahead of us  in the AAC.

Losing Conwell, Tchewa, Chaplin,... will be a devastating blow to our chances. My hope is that Coach Rahim can talk to some of these players and convince them to stay at USF. Either that or do some solid recruiting.

You know the line you quotes was a joke, because Kennesaw is the only Owls in Division 1 not in the AAC.

So just them and Temple; that's interesting. Wonder whether we are the only Bulls in college basketball. I know there are more then 300 teams in division 1 basketball, so you would think so.

Temple, Rice, FAU (all AAC)

Kennesaw State (not AAC, but we are taking parts of their basketball team)

Also, if you didn't notice, 50% of our home football schedule is Owls.

So a "Beat the Owls" shirt could be worn to 3 home games.

We should at least go 2-1 against the Owls.
