So, I hope this is just a step in the process, but only showing 3 players. The good news, I had 6 particular players in mind I wanted to see back with USF, and these 3 are all on that mental list in my head.

By the way. While this probably means these three aren't transferring. It doesn't mean other guys don't come back. If they don't then good luck to the transfers wherever they end up.

It also looks like the basketball staff wasn't retained, which is expected. No offense to any of them, and wish them all the best.

I’m with you. These three were top priority to retain. Would have liked to see Conwell and Dok come back, too - maybe Tchewa but guessing he just doesn’t fit the style of play.

Still nothing on Burden joining the others from Kennesaw? Solid point guard.

I’d have to add Conwell as a priority, especially considering he has 3 more years.

Good to see some hype again for men’s hoops.

Maybe waiting to see who is hired. If it is the internal candidate he may stay. (just a guess)

Likewise, if Kennesaw hires outside, I am guessing we may get their interim coach here.

I think he only has one year left and he’s looking at a total rebuild there. He’d be a unique kid in this day and age to have that kind of loyalty. I like it, but I doubt it.

At programs like that, losing a coach due to success, the smart move may be to hire from within for the continuity.

I agree - they haven't announced one way or the other.

But also depends on the particular person.

USF has had some great internal assistants promoted to HC (Jose Fernandez and Ken Eriksen) while others didn't work out as well.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
