I just booked 2 nights at the Courtyard Charlotte SouthPark for $89 a night.  I believe this is the same hotel that is listed as the hotel for Option 4.  Not sure why they are charging $169 per person for double occupancy when the hotel rooms are only $89 per night.  I guess they are factoring in the ground transportation, etc. which I think is a bit high.

Anyone else booked a room at this hotel?

I'm assuming they are throwing in the ground transport to and from the game, welcome reception, street party and the such.  I think what I may do is get my own room (with a friend or 2), upper deck tickets (sorry guys, I'm low on funds), and travel up there and I calculate that at about 150 dollars.  Add on food and parking and maybe a bowl game t-shirt and I put that at 200 bucks total, maybe a tad more.

We just booked our rooms there and are looking forward to seeing all our fellow bulls fans at the reception, game and other festivities!

We are staying at the southpark too.  Booked it online.  Didn't see the value in the package deal either.

I think a lot of people have jumped on the South Park. I know our group has 6 rooms for about 18 of us.

Triple you may want to check again.  I just looked and they are still showing availability.

Actually, the Suites works out better because of traveling with kids ..... Thanks for the heads-up though.

reserved my room just now.  it jumped up to $99 per night.  it was only $89 last night.

We canceled our reservations there to go to the Marriott...   I think its closer and a better deal.
