Best news about attendance is that we averaged nearly 10K more fans per game ... hopefully this translates into a bigger season tix base.

FAMU, UCF, and WVU each probably had what 5-10k

not sure if that will add to our season tix base

however, it also sounds like more students showed up this yr which increased attendance

while this does not provide the revenue that season tix do i think it is great and intrical for our program that students keep turning out in full force. They are the ones who get loud and pump up the team and i bet recruits love to see a rabid student section.

2004 went downhill after the choke to army

next yr will be interestin as the BE teams visiting will not be as exciting as Lville and WVU

I think that our team's improvement will offset the weak opponents. I really think that we'll be much improved and knocking on the door of teh BCS, for real this time.

BCS is a stretch @ WVU, @Louisville, Pitt are going to be very very good teams and we will be losing our best offensive weapon, 3 Olinemen, our D-line, and our best DB...

But I see no reason we can't be a good bowl team next year

Yes, our opponents this year made a difference.  Next year we get FIU, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Connecticut, and Rutgers - expect a sharp decrease in the average... probably 5-6,000.
