My fear is that this can be ugly on offense for one reason:

If people in the crowd can name off what offensive plays we're running with success, how much is Rich Rodriguez going to be in Rod Smith's head given the number of years they spent together as coaches.

Hopefully there will be offensive adjustments and some success there, because if not we're gonna need the defense/special teams to get in the endzone a couple of times to stay in this one.

do you think andre hall deserves first or second team All Big East? (we had a thread about this a few days ago)  

Personally, i said first team along with Michael Bush.   Steve Slaton and Brian Leonard would get second team.   However, if Slaton would of played in the first 4-5 games he would definitely be on the first team.

none obviously.

like i said before steve slaton didnt become starter until about 4 games ago.   during those four games he had put up 12 TDs and roughly 700 yards as the main ball carrier.   against VT he rushed 11 times for 90 yards which was his most carries in a game at the time.   he kept getting more carries each week and was able to capatilize on the opportunity.    

thats why i said second team for slaton.   only because of not playing an entire season.

We're going to need to throw the ball effectively in this game to win.  Pitt scored on some big plays against WVU's secondary.  So, we might have to throw some deep jump balls to our tall receivers.

We've been saying this all year...and it has yet to happen. They should throw to Edwards more.
