Resume: A junior from South Florida, Brown started every game this year at UCF for the second straight season. He played in 36 games for the Knights in his three years at UCF.

Fit: Keene wasn’t recruited by Malzahn and he’s not a fit for Malzahn’s offense. That was made clear when Malzahn added Plumlee from the transfer portal in the spring and then again in August when the Knights landed USF transfer Timmy McClain. While UCF won with Keene, he’s simply not the type of quarterback Malzahn needs for his system.
