Saved me the trouble of typing something similar. Like we're always behind and chasing. IPF? Got it now but way too late. OCS? Let's assume 2026 but way too late and, with NIL and portal, may not mean squat although our new head coach, and many others, is convinced it is needed.

If we had strong NIL, I bet we could sell them on playing in a NFL stadium. Another problem we have is our conference.

They had to because they literally did a zoom event with him

Did they offer him the NIL that comes with being an “ambassador”?  Don’t know what that is in dollars.

I was looking here to see if anyone knew before I reached out to him

It seems like people are Twitter want to understand the situation as well. We should stay tuned in for whatever they probably won’t say.

We're not outspending the upper half of the p5 if any p5.   That's not how this is going to work.

We don't have to win the SEC, we just need to win the watered down AAC.   IPF Built.  Build your OCS.  Build your tradition.  Build your culture

I'm curious how the NIL is helping us at the moment.  The skill players seem to take the NIL and leave.  Should we be allocating NIL differently?

Maybe could be its own thread.

Did our NIL not just buy the QB from CCU? lol I say let's see how everything plays out and enjoy the game. We are still in the process of recruiting. Hopefully this new staff has some surprises. We still have plenty of room for CAG to add more transfers. As for Battie, I see him transferring out as a sacrifice to the football gods so that we can keep Byrum Brown. 😁 I'm just excited to see where the final pieces to this puzzle a.k.a our roster.

OK I am a little worried now.  I wasn't until Battie left.

The main question I have is, why can't Golesh keep the players on his roster.  What is he not doing that can convince them to stay.  Or is there nothing he can do and it's inevitable.

I thought he was a good recruiter.  He does need to recruit the best players on his roster and right now, he's 0 for 3.  He just is.  All 3 players announced well after he got hired.  He had time to talk to them and recruit them.  So, what happened.  Was it just inevitable all along or was there something he could have done better?

We need to find two rbs, two starting receivers, at least one quality offensive linemen, at least one or two quality DT, and maybe a LB/DE or two.
