In regards to bowl/opponent, I feel if we play in NC, we will be basically playing a road game with very lopsided support. NC State, Clemson and Ga Tech will all travel extremely well and more than likely snap up whatever tickets are made available to the general public.

I would, just because its not even guaranteed that Meineke is the Bowl we will be in, plus whatever they offer will more than likely be part of the allotment given to the school, hence being around fellow Bulls rather that surrounded by opposing fans.

Clemson is actually closer to Charlotte than NC State is.

Sorry to say, but the USF team that played at UConn would get crushed if that game were to happen at that location.

Am I missing something? They're giving Louisville the # 2 Big East ranking even though USF beat them, and have the same league record?

They're projecting a UL win over UCONN and a USF loss to WVU.  That's consistent with the lines.  I hope we win, but remember the gator bowl gets the # 2 BE CHOICE.  They don't have to actually pick the #2 team in the league, the gator just gets first dibs after the BCS team.  The only exception would be if we had 2 wins more than UL as well, and we already know we wont have that criteria.

Even if we are #2 in the league, don't expect to see us get picked 2nd for a bowl.

Gator has already chosen Louisville.

The only choice for us is Charlotte or another nonBE aligned Bowl

If they want any hope of ending the season in the top 25

Coaches get paid bonuses based on conference standings top 25 finishes etc

I think all this bowl chosing should be done AFTER the seasons are finished. Then let the war begin. It's all about the money. It is surprising to not see the NCAA Brand Nazi's not involved in this money scheme. Oh Wait! They are all getting bonuses from them. That's right. It's ok then.  :-X   Reaper

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
