I feel like we all have that one coach that is a sleeper to others that we would be thrilled if they were hired. I understand others may not be excited about them and they are likely not to be hired. I was curious if we could make a thread of these more obscure names and their qualifications.

Mine is the coach at Holy Cross, Bob Chesney. He has won conference championships at FCS Holy Cross, Division III Assumption, and Division III Salve Regina. I like the idea of a coach that has won everywhere he has been for the last 12 years. Oh, and the programs he took over had a history of losing prior to him coming on:

Salve Regina had a streak of eight losing seasons in a row and Assumption had only had two winning seasons in the 17 previous years.

I like the thought. Remains to be seen if VPMK wants a true football coach who wants to win the games on the field, or a guy who is going to be a fundraising partner (not like you have a Bulls Club staff for that)

6 seasons of existence... 4 top 10 rankings, one national championship, one runner-up in their second season ever. Started a another program before UWF and took them to two playoffs over seven seasons.
