Took a real quick glance, so I may have missed it posted elsewhere.

Rumor is if Leavitt leaves for KSt, Jimbo Fisher will take the USF job.

Jimbo is being considered for a lot of jobs..

I hope he gets one of them.

As long as there aren't any political roadblocks keeping Leavitt from doing what he needs to win (not being allowed to decide if assistants get hired or fired, etc,) I just don't see him leaving.

Not only is this his baby, his baby is right on the verge of growing up and doing big things.  I don't see him leaving after putting in all that hard work, just when it's about to go prime time.

he wants more money\

has he done anything of merit in lAST 3 YEARS?

WE backed into a bowl game when we should have been playing for bcs bowl

we need a coach that over achieves not underachieves

I hope not.  The only offense worse than ours is LSU's offense.  Year in and year out they out recruit just about everyone, and they can't put the ball in the endzone.  LSU is overrated in my book.

2005: LSU 35th USF 60th

2004: LSU 41st USF 66th

2003: LSU 19th USF 72nd

Point blank he is the offensive coordinator of  team that has been to a couple BCS bowls, won a national title and made the transition of a coach with only 1 loss so far this year.

He's good, I'd hire him, However, So will MANY teams. We don't be able to afford it.

Seeing how KSt is willing to offer Leavitt 3x's the amount he's making at USF, and how he has ties to KSt, it makes a lot of sense.
