Rutgers going to first bowl since '78

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- Rutgers is bowl bound for the first time in 27 years.

A spokesman for the Insight Bowl said Monday that Rutgers accepted an invitation to play in the Dec. 27 game in Phoenix, Ariz.

I would expect that a bid would come only after UCONN is eliminated...assuming Louisville can do what we couldnt.

not until the bowl that eventually takes us (Meineike Car Care Bowl) realizes they're stuck with us (UConn losing to Loserville).

USF MUST TO BE DESERVED TO GO BOWL !!!!  PERIOD

USF have played 2 non-conference team and top 25 (PENN ST and MIAMI). may be top 10  

WVU only played 1 (VA TECH).  they lost (17-34)

Louisville? ZERO

Rutgers? ZERO

U.Conn?  (GA.TECH)  they lost (13-28)

What if Rutgers have played against Miami and Penn St this season, I doubt they would have won 6 games!!!

No doubt USF have most tough schedule in Big East!
