This board has become pretty crazy after that UCONN loss. I never thought I would see so many fans upset after a loss like this. We are still in the running for a bowl game which would make the season to me. I also feel like we will have a better shot at winning if we play in one of the lower bowls instead of playing either UGA or LSU. Face it, I would rather wait to get to the BCS game because we will be stronger when we do. What does not kill us will make us stronger in the long run. No way does USF have a chance right now against LSU or UGA in Atlanta. Talk about a tough road game for WVU if UGA wins the SEC.  Right now, it looks like USF might face Clemson or Boston College in the Car Care Bowl which still would be tough. Face it, I like our chances better against Clemson then I do against LSU.

All the USF fans need to be more supportive right now because the players and coaches are more hurt than any of us fans. They really wanted this because they have received nothing but disrespect from the media. Now you are going to tell me that our own fans are going to rip the team now?? What a bunch of hog wash. The one that really kills me is that some of you want Leavitt to leave. Jeez!!! I dont know how many of you were here since day 1, but I can tell you that USF would not be in 1A or the BIG EAST without Leavitt. Leavitt gave you the chance to boo the OC and coaches, so you bette pay more respect to him.

I'm a Bulls Fan too.  I support the team just not many of the individual on it (ie. CJL, Rod Smith, PJ etc.).  My criticism is proof of my devotion.  Blind devotion is no devotion at all.

Of course we are not happy with the loss, but these kids are more hurt than any of us. (UNLESS YOU WERE FOOLISH TO BET) These players dont make millions like the NFL, so they really do care about winning unlike some NFL players. I hate to use excuses, but the cold weather really got to the players IMO. It took the defense awhile to warm up, but it was too late because we feel behind. I have noticed that USF is not too good at playing catch up. USF struggles when the other team has the lead this season. I think we get taken out of game and kind of give up the run at times. I thought Pat should have never thrown that ball into the endzone. Talk about going for the home run too early.  Anyway, I just think that we have the ability to win games if we get the lead.

being a fan does not mean you have to be positive all the time. I am a realist......what i saw yesterday was a disgrace. That game was handed to USF and they did everything (players and coaches) to lose the game. Might have been the worst played football game i have ever seen.

They better feel bad! UConn wanted this game more than USF. You could tell it right from the start, that USF was looking ahead to WVU. We didn't want it bad enough. This has turned out to be worse of a loss than Pitt. We as a Bull nation are feeling bad, but can not do anything about it. It is the Coaches and the players who CAN do something about it. Well guys, you've got your chance. You have been concentrating on WVU all this past week. Now it's your chance to redeem yourselves!

Also we are not a come from behind team. Once the opposition has a lead, we fold up the tents and go home. It seems as all is lost if the other team has a lead.

7-0?!

1 touchdown?!

I think we get taken out of game and kind of give up the run at times.

SEVEN POINTS!!!!!!!!!!

I thought Pat should have never thrown that ball into the endzone. Talk about going for the home run too early.

Leavitt said they had been working on that play for "awhile..."

SJ Green didnt want the ball, apparently.

Anyway, I just think that we have the ability to win games if we get the lead.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
