Stopped by to check status of IPF on way home:

Thoughts:

- Thought it would be further along. Still leveling dirt inside.

- You can tell from the one picture how high the foundation is above the level of Sycamore drive...looks to be at least 4 feet higher at the one spot. 

- Still don't understand the HVAC system. It looks like it is the same as the Bucs IPF with just a couple vent openings and without any ducts running down length of facility.

- Assume the ministries will be relocated, the road will be renamed and half the strip can be tailgate parking and other can be food / bar plaza (not sure what the rules are about putting stuff...lease like Publix is doing ?) for OCS.

All of those ministries are derelict & should be gone. They have looked exactly the same (vacant & condemned) for 25 years...

The HillEl center has had some recent additions as it expanded... USF could offer to relocate them to the original Greek Park site further south (the cul-de-sac east of the baseball/softball complex).  But that just adds millions to the OCS budget.

Or just let people worship to their deity of choosing off campus...

The buildings were paid for by the respective churches, who are leasing the land from USF, for another 45-50 years or so.  So if USF wants to move them, USF will have to pay to move them.

Spoke with the GC on Friday night. Contract calls for it to be done 1st week of November. He's confident it will be before that. Learned something interesting. Even though it is an indoor field, they have to install it like an outdoor field. Layers of rocks, etc for drainage. Explained that they have to be able to clean the field of sweat, blood, etc. Never would have guessed. And then all the lines on the field will have to be stiched in. They aren't just painted on. Another learning moment for me.

Although, not really my thing, probably wouldn't be a bad idea to keep them close to the stadium .... maybe figure a way to bring on all other denominations to have all the bases covered ..... maybe add a Seminole casino.

I was thinking of locating the burial grounds and building the casino on top of it ...
