Let's hope it is true interested to see how is the hybrid saftey/linebacker.

This defense looked better without Spencer vs UCF.

Now add more transfers and freshmen like Eddie Kelly and with a good proven DC added it's hard not to get excited about the defense.

Not sold on Matt Hill at all, a strong wind will blow that scrawny kid over, he has athleticism but needs to bulk up. He is not the guy I want plugging gaps.

One thing Shoop mentioned in his press conference is that Kelly isn't as strong as he needs to be right now.

Who knows if he can still be a guy this season, but that kinda sucked to hear.

How many O or D line start in college as a true freshman, if they do then we are incredibly thin, so he may get a few targeted snaps, fresh and impactful, just not as an every down guy, or even every other like most rotations on the D line.

Usually only the greats do, maybe get him 4 games and redshirt.
