Well there's one thing we can be sure of.

If we lose to WVU, there will definitely be no Gator Bowl, even though we kicked Luh-vulle's a$$.

With a PATHETIC showing like that at home, Bowl representatives on hand, I'm sure even the Car Care Bowl isn't happy attendance-wise with us as a competitor.

But at least they have to take us.

Tampons suck - nothing but bandwagon fans. I give the Lightning two losing seasons before attendance is crappy again.

It was a nice day.  Heat was managable.  We had the rep from the Meineke Car Care bowl standing right in front of our section, so we made as much noise as possible.

The thing you need to get through your collective noggins is this:

Until such time as USF becomes the addition to the big three: 11:00/12:00 games will not garner support.

The thing you have to remember about these Saturday evening games...and I know you don't want to hear it...is that it is an incredibly convenient time. Half our tailgate crew was gone today because of their REGULARLY scheduled Saturday commitments (baseball, football, family related stuff).

Does that mean that just because you reside in Tampa you have some sort of moral obligation to go to Bulls games?

Announced was 27,204 per the USF game stats. The avg announced attendance is 37, 263. If 16,145 people show up for WVA, then USF will have beaten the avg attendance record for a season.

Does that mean that just because you reside in Tampa you have some sort of moral obligation to go to Bulls games?

No. What it means is that more of the 90,000 USF alumni who reside in Tampa should be as committed as the excellent members of this board and groups like the Bull Backers and the Bulls Club. They don't need to pay to be members of such groups, but it would be nice to see more alumni show some love. A lot of folks who attend the games that I know of didn't even go to USF, they just like college football enough to attend USF's games.

7PM games in RayJay (after 1st of November, or thereabouts) are great.

If there is a showdown for Big East title in two weeks, I would hope the stands will be packed - that game will be on the national stage, for sure, with a BCS berth on the line. How much better can you get than that?
