Anderson, who played at UCF from 2017 to 2020, died late Monday in Jacksonville.

That's what this NY Post article states.

Otis's girlfriends dog I think. Just a terrible event. Otis was a beloved figure, I saw him many times staying around posing for a pic with every young person that wanted one. Just tragic.

It was listed as the cause on the police report and I also recall they noted that was alcohol was an issue as well, less sure about that detail
