USF is most definitely a legit top team this season. Arguably our best player, Tsineke, had an off night against Oregon, but others were good enough to step up their games to make up the difference. Oregon was missing some key starters, so it's not like we faced the "real" #9 team. But... I do think this USF squad will make some serious noise in the tournament this year. If you've never tuned in to women's hoops, you may want to give this team a chance to win you over. 🤘

Oregon was short handed and our girls put them away. That's the mark of a good team IMO. If we had lost to Oregon today, there would have been some cause for concern. This W will look good late in the season if the committee has a short memory.

As long as Oregon doesn’t end up like Mississippi state did last season the win will be a good thing in the eyes of the committee. Last year we beat Mississippi state at home when they were #8 in the country but they ended the season around .500 so it lost some of its appeal around tourney time

They shouldn't. Their best player and another 1 or 2 from the rotation were missing.
