Not at all looking past the Cinnci game (where the weather will be a gorgeous 75 degrees at kickoff), but it appears that USF might catch a break if the 10 Day Forecast holds form.

It is showing highs near 45 degrees and lows around 30. But the most important thing is that it is showing virtually no chance of rain/snow.

We have UCONN killed in the speed department and we need the field to be in pristine condition so that Andre can tear it up.

I doubt that forecast holds true, but would love to see highs getting close to 50.

if their football turf is anything like their soccer turf, pristine is not going to happen.

The record low for a USF game was 46 degrees at Memphis on 11/29/03. USF won 21-16. USF is 2-0 for games under 50 degrees. So no monkey for 32, because USF hasn't played under 46.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."

    Jim Leavitt
