I would not be surprised if part of the delay in any announcement is that the Big 12 is pressuring BYU to change their honor code. This hints at it.

And Houston is getting an audition for Big-12.  I guess we need someone to step up and give USF $20 million for an on campus stadium.

I don't think there is any "flipping" the conversation. As I understand it "Houton to the B12" has less to do with their football ability and more to do with cowboy-boot wearing Texas politics.

I don't think the conversation is driving any of the expansion possibilities, but I enjoy positive press for USF in any form. Houston getting blasted and us being the poster child for G5 is fine by me for this season.
