Boise isn't even ranked nationally. It's #61 as a regional school. Memphis is listed as a Tier 2 school. BYU is listed as a regional school too. Keep in mind that in addition USF has a cutting edge medical school and very highly ranked patent and research record. People tend to equate familiarity with academic quality.
