bulldad Posted March 28, 2004 Group: Member Topic Count: 10 Content Count: 365 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 10/13/2002 Share Posted March 28, 2004 Well it helps our image put accross in the NYTimes. I voted no that he should not be kicked off the team, however I am reconsidering. I have heard that he should redshirt so that he can go get a job and pay the back support. Remember support continues for the next 18 yrs. If we want a quality program then we will need quality players. Having 2 children almost within 1 year by 2 different women is not a quality person. What type of father is he being. Yea he is a good player, but do we need that kind of publicity.

(Not just a person who sends a check!!)As other USF Fans have said...this MVP for USF last year should get his MORAL Obligation in place....then his legal obligation....then worry about his "playing career, practice, games, etc...Sounds like this kid has his life upside...and not sure if Leavitt even cares about it.It just seems that Leavitt wants this kid to think about football...and football only.KL

Guest GracieBarra
I agree that in some cases this is a problem, however, this particular black kid went to a school that was 61% white and 31% black. Much like the school that I attended. The education was there for the taking. My experience was that it had more to do with the kid than the color of their skin.
