Just went 8-5 with a bowl win over an SEC team.  All of this after a 1-11 record last year.

With our schedule, a 6-6 record next year is totally doable.  Good coaching and a change in a culture goes a long way.

Definitely a function of excellent coaching, but also enough talent left over to win with.

The cupboard is not bare at USF, either.

I didn't realize Louisville was that BAD last year.  That is quite a turnaround in one season........Gives us some hope that we can possibly get better quicker than expected!

We have had decent recruiting classes...if you look at avg ranking per player we usually are in the top 3 the last 3 or 4 years for the conference...so I do think we are a decent qb, better offensive scheme and good coaching away from semi quick turnaround.

Part of the problem is how smart is our team and learning how to win again.  That's the part hard to predict.

Your right, the culture change and belief in winning is probably the most important piece of this whole thing.  We certainly have alot of coaches that are use to winning alot and are fiery.  So that certainly is going to help us right away.

How smart is the team to learn the new system?  There definately will be a learning curve from that aspect, so next year is definately a complete transition year.  The folllowing year is when I think we see the real evolution of this team.

Yea the following season is when things start clicking.  So I have no expectations for this season.  Just going to watch the transition and hope to see improvement during the season.
