This program needs an identity

And right now we don’t have one.  Under CJL we were known as having a tough scrappy defense and on offense we ran a spread with mobile QBs and that worked because we could recruit to this style.

Look around college football and you see a lot of successful programs that have an established an identity of who they want to be as a program.  I hate to say it but just look 90 miles east and you see a program that knows who they are and what they want to be and they’ve hired accordingly.

We on the other hand are floundering and have no idea who we are.  We went from Leavitt to Holtz to Tags and now Chuckles.  When Kelly goes to hire the next coach we need to know who we want to be (hint hint mobile QB in a spread offense with FL athletes) hire accordingly and then recruit to meet the needs of our identity.

Yea Ucf has laid out the blueprint and even Tags did for what will work here.

Holding out that Bell can get this offense working right..might take McCloud though.
