Congrats, the Astros couldn't get the timely hits like the Sox did.

Congrats... a complete ass kicking in each series.

Even sweeter for the chisox is that it leaves the Cubs as the lone cursed team ;)

There has not been a better team in baseball over the last 5 years.

LOL... almost shot coffee out of my nose on that.

You can wear your black and white goggles for at least a couple years... your team has earned it.  ::)

Great teams are remembered for the way they play in the postseason. Name another team over the last several years who has been this dominant in the playoffs. They White Sox dominated, they were freaking 11-1. Everyone contributed (like I predicted by the way).

The only recent teams WS champs who compare whee the Yankees from a few years ago.

Who was better?

The White Sox are definetly better than the last three teams who won. Even Boston Homer Peter Gammons said that they were far superior to the Red Sox team that won it last year.

The White Sox only weakness is lack of media exposure.

if you are saying that this is the best single year team, fine... i'll give you that.

I thought you were saying the best team over a 5 year span...and that thought would be comical, as even you would probably laugh at that.

There has not been a better team in baseball over the last 5 years.

That's funny stuff right there.  Let me share this quote from Paul Konerko with you... then you might want to lay off the White and Black Happy Pills...

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/playoffs2005/columns/story?columnist=stark_jayson&id=2204831

"But we're proof that you don't have to put together an all-star team to win it, like some teams that went down along the way. I don't have to mention their names. You know who they are. We're not a team that was a lock to win. We could start the playoffs again tomorrow and get knocked off in three games, because we aren't some unbelievably great team. We're just a team that played our best baseball when we had to."

Now enjoy your win, but welcome back to reality.

LOL.

They seemed to have fate on their side, and that is half the battle.

Even Bagwell mentioned that he thought that Chicago was destined to win as he thought all the little breaks were going their way.

Its tough enough to beat a good team, but to feel that destiny isn't siding with you is very demoralizing to a team.  When they lost game 2, they felt bad and unlucky... when they lost game 3, they knew they didn't have a chance.  It was chicago's year....

odds are already out for next years WS champ... guess who has the best odds... NYY again...  when are they gonna learn that they are cursed... No Spankee titles in the 21st Century!

2000!!!!!!!
