Great coverage in the sports section today.

However, on the front page, where you usually see a picture and short article a Bucs win, you'd think that USF's win over the #9 team in the country as worthy...

No.. instead, there was an article about the Lightning's first preseason home game after defending the Cup two years ago.

I'm on pins & needles waiting for the actual versus announced attendance at RayJay!

Only question I have is why I don't see these announcements for the other FL schools?

The trib's coverage on USF has a long ways to go before I consider it worth my time.

San Antonio (TX) Expresss-News sports section on their college football coverage leads off with about a Half page photo of A Jackson on his 51yd TD run and a big bold headline on the Page  "S. Florida slugs Louisville"

Do you think USF's decision to go with St Pete Time's PAID Sponsorship is a possible reason?

Most USF fans have said that the Trib's coverage has been pretty fair (some even called it VERY good today), but remember, USF "sold" a sponsorship from the St Pete Times....

I agree with Flip.  You are looking at the main sports page of the Trib.  You have to see the college bonus section.  Half the page is CJL getting doused, then A Jackson picture under that, and then the bottom quarter of the page talking about the Gators.
