Wasn't it nice to not have Paul Porter screaming at us the entire game?  I like the Bucs announcer much better.

Yeah.  I do not dislike Porter like some people but his announcing sometimes make me cringe.  The announcer last night gave us the facts without being overbearing.  A true professional.  We need to hire him on a permanent basis.

I agree that the announcer last night was pretty good. USF needs to keep this guy because he does not seem so biased towards USF like Porter does. Let the fans get amped up by themselves instead of Porter helping out. I think the fans do pretty good last night without any help from Porter IMO.

Porter isn't ALL bad...

I like his FIRST DOWN.......BULLS!!!!

I know that annoyed the hell out Southern Piss fans a couple of years ago and UCF last week.

Other than that I can live without him...

Huh?  I like the fact that the announcer is biased.  In the early days, when USF was pitching a shutout, the guy used to say "USF 35, <insert team name> ..."    He would never say zero.  Good stuff.

While I have problem with PP, I must say I prefer last night's announcer.  He used subtle inflections to get the crowd into it without being overbearing.

Another vote to keep this guy around.

Unfortunately, the Lightning do not have a game on 10/22 so I guess PP will be back.
