good coaches will find a way to utilize talent. look

OR good coaches say run up the middle on 1st and 2nd down and go vertical on 3rd and 8.  If in red zone and vertical is not possible, run up the middle on 3rd and 8.

Do to your lack of knowledge you are the only one who thinks they were QBs. Pete Carroll and Tom Herman agree they are not QBs and that is why they have them playing WR and TE for their teams. Why don't you give them a call and tell them you know more about football then them and that they are QBs. For those of us like myself who actually saw them play can tell you they were in no shape or form college level QBs and their running ability was not good enough to keep them as running QBs. That is why they were beat out by a true freshmen who should have been red shirted.

You keep throwing out their stars ranking like it's set in stone. If you have been watching collage football long enough you will find out just because a player was a star in one position in HS doesn't mean that transfer over to collage. He maybe be a star RB in HS and become a star DE in collage, happens a lot.  No matter how mush you wish it to be the reality is they just were not collage QBs.

Quinton Flowers arguably our best QB ever had a 59% completion percentage and 5.2 ypc before strong got here. He was converted to a RB in NFL.

Swoopes (4 star QB recruit) had a 58% completion percentage and a 6.1 ypc average at points during Strong's tenure at Texas.

Heard (4 star QB recruit) had a 58% completion percentage and 4.0 ypc average in Strong's 2nd year.

Strong didn't know how to use them. He ran a west coast offense when he got there that needed an NFL QB (teddy Bridgewater) at UofL to run. he switched to veer and shoot his last year under gilbert. both pass heavy offenses that don't take advantage of a running QB.

Never did he run a system designed for a true dual threat QB that was a better runner than passer.

Taggart was smart enough to design an offense around Flowers that took advantage of the fact that he was a better runner than passer.

Good coaches adapt their system to their talent. If Jalen hurts can lead Alabama to a title game as a true freshman as a below average passer who averages 5.0 ypc then I'm sure a good coach could have designed an offense around 1 of those 4 star QBs

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
