it can happen to anyone- - though I wouldn't consider this as bad as how the Oklahoma fans must have felt needing over time to beat Army at home today.

They are the #5 team folks. Against Army.

This stuff happens to any team but the key is to find a way to win- which we did. #13 Virginia Tech did not-- losing to a formerly winless ODU.  WOW!

I think I need to take a week off from the board just to avoid what I fear will be a period of loathing in the bye week. Why do that to ourselves?

well -- maybe I won't either. It doesn't seem as bad as I would have thought so far. Guess it helps having the 4-0 to work with despite some glaring problems.

Everyone wants 56-9 wins.  We didn't get those.  That gives the coaches things to work on over next two weeks. Good thing.

Outside of Carolinas teams, we played decent squads.
