I haven't seen progress since the days of Greenberg coaching here. I'll take above average seasons with a glimmer of hope to win each and every game vice what we have been watching for the last two years. Also, we have three great wins in a tourney... well... what happened during the 25 games prior to that? Did we peak at the end... or did teams play down to us think they would walk over us (it does happen a lot during conference tourney time). Anyways... Seth is my man... but I give Mac some props for his recent recruiting coups and hopefully in Hawaii this year, I'll be catching a little Bulls doing some net cutting at the end of the tourney.

This is the time for Mac to step it up... I'll be happy with 5 conference wins. We have some decent transfers and some returningcats with some experience... 5 wins... you can do it!

Darth Vader IS the one that killed the evil emporer though.

That said, what little plug huggins might bring in terms of coaching/talent is not worth the hassle.  Mac's pretty good.

It is well worth the hassle... A full Sun Dome every night... super star recruits... a good product on the court... future NBA dollars reigning into the program... fan support despite the off the court problems.

Look at any Cinci message board and you'll see that the president is being threatened and the program is about to be boycotted... Huggins made Cinci hoops what it is today. Huggins is a falling star that is going to be scooped up by some young program that will run laps around us... that is my personal opinion. Look at the recruits that are already saying "Go to hell UC for ditching Huggy Bear".

Just my personal opinion. Huggins is in the same field as Coach K, Smith, Thompson, and Knight... without a championship (if Kenyon doesn't break his leg... well, we know where that team would be hanging a banner now).

He's no where near Coach K or Dean Smith or Bobby Knight.  You said it yourself, he has no championships.  Also, the other coaches actually have players that graduate.  I, for one, hope our school has a higher level of integrity than to hire Thuggins.
