There are reports that a UCF player was airlifted from UCF's practice tonight after lying motionless on the field for 30 minutes.

While this is going....save the effort you are going to use to run smack and take a moment to go wish the kid good luck.

I still remember standing around looking at the kid from Tenn Tech collapse on the field last year. Not good...

Please resume your regularly schedule smack off tomorrow morning.

Thank you Cyber.  Very classy.

Paul is a tough kid and very well liked by all.  It sounds like he is doing pretty good, but still very scary.

Tough to see players down on the field no matter what team they are playing for.

As of now he seems to be okay, although the severity of his injury is not known, at least to the public.  I don't know if an injury like this is career ending or the player can make it back.  Paul had movement in his limbs so the worst was avoided.  Lets just hope any of us don't have to see something like that again.  I watched Antonie Poe go through that, it seems to happen to the best kids we have and I am talking about off the field kids.

I was at the game where Poe went down.  It was a very scary 15 minutes.  Now, his career is over.

I was there with Poe as well.  I was plannig to go to the scrimmage last night but couldn't make it.

I hope Paul is OK.  Not ALL of the people that have this type of injury have their career ended but it is too soon to tell with Paul.  I think he was ready for a breakout season too.

Too bad and hope all ends well.

Ugh... I would never wish that on ANYONE.

Here's hoping he'll be fine and back on the field soon.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
