Now 17 in the RPI.  Can you say Conference Championship = #1 seed and hosting a regional?

Not a chance. But it’s a fun dream. RPI looks good and means we should have a shot at it theoretically, but they're not giving a host site to an unranked team. Yes, the rankings and the seeding are done by different groups, but it's not being done in a vacuum.

I can dream.  We'll be ranked if we win the tournament, but uf, fsu, and probably stetson get 1 seeds before us and I don't think they're putting 4 hosts in the state of Florida.

Side note, UCF has dropped out of the Top 40 in RPI and Wichita State now outside the Top 50.  Are they both outside looking in when the regionals are set?   4 semifinalists are in, Wichita State is most likely out, ucf on the bubble?
