Athlon: Way-Too-Early College Football Top 25 for 2018

Not surprising that there is no mention of USF.

However, it's hard to believe they left out the "2017 National Champion" from their top 25.

How soon they forgot.

Wow.  When was the last time a defending national champion did not debut in the following season’s preseason way too early top 25?

"Keeping Leavitt in Eugene was a priority, and the former USF head coach is back for 2018."

Nice pick up mama. Well, I guess we will see how well we fly under the radar versus being the hunted. I do think we will be “others receiving votes” in the preseason AP...might be pretty down at the bottom though.

They are still the team to beat in the AAC, especially in the East.
