Under the current structure; a G5 team WILL NEVER make the playoff

The product was absolutely better in the Big East before the last 3 seasons when the conference, and the team, fell apart. Look at the NFL talent the Big East produced, even terrible USF teams.

The competition has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY since those days. If you enjoy watching 30+ points vs second rate teams more than the 2006-2010 seasons thats you. You also probably play Madden on Easy.

There is still the same number of recruits.... just all those old Big East schools are now in a "P5" conference. But due to location Houston, USF, and UCF should be able to compete with the average P5 team from  recruiting perspective. Coaching salaries, facilities, SOS, and fan support is where we the most disadvantaged. It seems we are doing our best facilities wise so maybe that isn't a large gap vs the average P5 either. But coaching salaries and sos will leave us behind.
