This. DJ has not been utilized by this staff the same way Taggart did. DJ mostly took the ball in space and ran with it from the outside. He was never much of an up the middle or through the tackles guy he way Mack Andrea Tice are.

And the other thing is this offensive line (or maybe it's the blocking schemes) leave no holes beyond the line of scrimmage. Just seems our guys are always running into tons of traffic.

I wish we would stop trying to run up the middle. Brings really bad flashbacks to the holtz days...

It's all good.  I just think the thread hasn't outlived its usefulness until we have lost a game.  As long as we're undefeated it should remain.

Keep the MoJo alive!!!!!

FIFY as they say.

Shake it off, find the offense that fits your players.

Touché. I guess my expectations were too high. Was thinking that with our senior players we would continue from where we left off instead of majorly regressing or starting from scratch.

You have to follow the coach's lead.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
