It was posted on this board that the postion was being created... it doesn't take much for anyone interested in the position to find out how to apply.

And you can probably bet that several USF grads applied for the job... But DW was probably more comfortable with Kosha's experience... "better the devil you know"...

Plus there is something to be said for "new blood"...

For years people have been complaining about this board about the lack of marketing at USF. So the school hires a marketing director, and without missing a beat everyone's already complaining about WHO they hired to do it. Sheesh.

This isn't a slap at USF grads -- clearly we're the best in the country. But if Woolard knows what this guy can do and endorses him, then why not?
