So, I'm in Chicago this past weekend (I scored tickets to the Cubs/BoSox game on Friday), and on Sunday the group I'm up there with wants to go downtown.  We eventually end up at the bar at the Signature Room Grill on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building.  My shirt of choice that day is a simple grey USF football shirt with the "U-Bull".  All of a sudden from across the bar I hear, "Hey, did you graduate from USF?"  Sure enough, he's an alum from the mid 70's, up for the weekend from Ft. Lauderdale.  Of all the places....up on the 96th floor of a building in Chicago.

Hey whata coincident.  I met Bulliever in prison too.  He sold me a "shank" with a USF logo on the handle.  He was concerned about my protection.  Said I was to pretty for prison life.  :)

I ran into a Bulls alum at a itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, very rednecky gas station just outside the Smokies in Tennessee a few years ago.  Ended up being a half hour conversation, and the guy called me the next time he made it into Tampa.

Didn't bother to ask him if he knew Brad from the joint...

He wasn't going to smoke it.  Smokes are currency in the joint.

Ran into a fellow USF alum here in Iraq, who just happened to see my USF flag flying over my trailer.  Turns out he was a recent grad of the Army ROTC program there at USF and was already in Iraq less then a year later.
