Distance-wise, Allentown and BWI are about the same from State College. Allentown might be less non-interstate driving though. You could rent a car and still have some gas money with the money you save by flying into BWI.

Those of you who are flying to BWI may look into sharing the rental car costs...  maybe get an SUV and have everyone bring their Bulls flags and magnets...

The point was "Hooters Air" not $199.

BWi is really easy to fly into.  would give you about 2.5 hour drive to state college non gameday.  If you can't stay in SC i recomend staying in Harrisburg which is an easy 1:15 min from BWI.  the its about 1.5-2 hours to SC on game day.
