USF is mentioned at the bottom of the article. Does anyone know when we started flashing our horn sign?

No idea, but should the Texas Long horns actually use the hang ten sign like below.

Hang-Ten

They all have different meanings so I don't think they can patent it. Gene Simmons must if realized it was a waste of time fighting for it and dropped it.

Also, I believe it's been mentioned that our index and pinky fingers are more vertical while The hook 'em horns spread theirs outward.

This is kind of like when Queen & David Bowie tried to sue Vanilla Ice for ICE ICE Baby. Vanilla Ice said it has a slight difference so it was a BS lawsuit

Too much traction for us to stop using it, even if we did find another gesture that we could call our own. I like Texas' response though, classic.

Am I the only one that finds it hilarious that the picture that ESPN used is showing the Longhorns fan not properly flashing the Longhorns sign?

The article even discusses the thumb extended horizontally, and that guy is using the index finger.

EDIT: I guess there is some disagreement as to the LongHorns way of showing the horns.  Who knew?
