It it never too early to discuss this.

Which sports bars will participate in the official Bulls Club (run by the Athletic Assc) for the upcomming season?

Personally I will attend the games at Penn State and Miami, but I could volunteer to help out at the other road games if they are televised.

This is probably a good time ask Eric Soncrant if he has any details on the watch parties.

I know the bullbackers will be joning forces with the pinellas alumni aa and we will be watching games at Capogna's Dugout in Clearwater.  I believe some of the hillsborough bullbackers might set up shop in hillsborough.  Dunno. ??

Any other Sarasota Bulls interested in organizing a watch party?  I know a place that said they will hold it if we gather enough interest.  So we need warm bodies.  Otherwise I may head up to Tampa for a few myself.

We haven't started organizing for the most part because we aren't sure about the television schedule right now.  But our goal with watch parties has been to do them in areas until fans like yourselves just start organizing them on their own.  If you want to set up shop any where, similar to what Gene and the Pinellas County Alumni Associaiton are doing, we'll help publicize.

With the increase demands of travel, more and more of our staff need to attend away games which leaves us less staff back in Tampa to run watch parties.  So this is a great time to start getting these put together.  Here are some of the places that I had talked to people about:

Courtside Grille off of Ulmerton (may be too close to Capogna's to make sense though)

Clubhouse Grill on Fowler

Beef's on Fowler

New place scheduled to open this Summer called the Bulls Ring on Fowler (where Hops used to be)

Gecko's in Sarasota and Bradenton have been our traditional places but open for suggestions.

Beef's in Wesley Chapel

Let me know your thoughts.  I'm sure we'll have a Phoenix location as well.

Eric

We sure will.  We got a late start last year and then ended up traveling to most of the games ourselves.  Plus the 8 a.m. pacific time kickoffs made it a little difficult.  I know Terry is traveling to most of the games this year, whereas I am not.  I plan to take the lead this year and get some of these Arizona USF alumni together for some watch parties.

Way too early to discuss this, they just finished the travel packages.  Give them some time to get things done, the season is still 3 months away.
