Great year for Coach Jolly. This and being inducted into the Florida Sports Hall of Fame. From one of Toad's decent articles ...

It's induction time again. And with local flavor ... USF sailing coach Allison Jolly, a sailing gold medalist at the 1988 Olympics.

Think the Florida Sports Hall of Fame doesn't matter? Oh, maybe not to the more famous inductees. But ask Jolly, who was raised in Tampa Bay and has been USF's sailing coach for 14 years.

"I thought, 'There must be some mistake,' or they were mandated to have a female sailor from Florida," Jolly said with a laugh. "I'm honored. It's not excitement — kind of astonishment, really. To my knowledge, someone from the sailing community hasn't been inducted. I'm not sure how I hold up to the others."

She holds up fine. Her new home is the Hall. It has a new home itself.
