Sheesh. The Big 12 news has turned this conference upside down.

For years prior to the AAC, USF never recognized UCF as a rival.  What if during that time, UCF made a trophy without the consent or knowledge of USF and brought it to one of our games and left it in the UCF bench.  After USF won, what would've USF do?  Actually, what if Tulsa declared USF a rivalry, made a trophy and left it on their bench?  Would USF care?   The trophy was  left on the UConn bench.  According to some UCF staff, nobody knew what to do with it.  UConn contrived the trophy.  They can keep it, we'll just take the "W".

31-14 for SMU, SMU with the ball, 9:50 left in the 4th quarter.

Navy should have the west wrapped up.

So our most winnable game left was SMU and they may very well knock off number 11 Houston.  What does that mean?

Plus, SMU seems to know how to run the ball.

UH on national tv too. Misery loves company.

Gone from Navy and Memphis being dogfights, SMU and UCF being gimmes to the first two being realistic losses and the last 2 being dogfights.

Could go 4-0, could go 0-4. A week ago I'd have said probably 3-1 and a Temple win. Now, who knows.

Just turned it on, looks like SMU has some real aggressive defense too.

You've lost your mind... that's the best thing UCF has done all season... Diaco and his stupid trophy... pure genius for them to leave it there.

SMU has  4 minutes left and will have handed Houston a loss and will do the same thing to us.  they have stopped Ward from running and his passing game is ineffective.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
