Florida is a football state and not basketball state.  Billy Donovan gave kids a reason to come to Florida. There is hardly any recruting base here in Florida. While we have the occasional superstar that comes from Florida most kids dont grow up like up north loving basketball. I moved from NC to Florida during highschool and it was a night and day difference. In NC basketball is king and in Florida football is king.

So far, is CSH (not skip holtz) a better recruiter than COA for USF?

I think the margin for error is much smaller for basketball.  There is plenty of football talent here but not basketball talent. If you see COA goes out of state most the of the time.  Skip Holtz brought in some good players but no depth.
