...I want Greg back...how much do we have to pay him to return?

I hope they take their time and do a thorough evaluation of the potentials. I could care less how long it takes, IMO that only helps us make our case on the field. If not for the pandering pleas, political posturing, and preposterous pronouncements, this might be fun. ;)

Greg would have filed multiple FoIAs by this point. And, he would have embraced fans reaching out to him - for anything.  He knew how to build a blog.

In a subsequent tweet he said he was "crunching numbers" but didn't elaborate.

Crunching numbers? Really? Was washing his hair already taken as an excuse?

Asked what the spread of a game would be one time, and his response was "not sure, but I'll be enjoying the spread of food I get from the press room"

^ I think of JK as Fennely's "mini-me."  He loves to retweet him and aspires to become an arrogant douche just like him one day.

His pic looks like he crunching one out on the can.  If the Times cared about USF they'd realize he's marginal at best.  I believe he was on the Gators beat for Trib  before he moved to the Times.  Greg is exceptional for a beat writer, for any team.  If you follow him with the Bucs, he's phenomenal.  We got spoiled - they wined and dined us with steak and lobster, but decided that Spam was adequate for the long haul.
